What Do We Pick In?
We have serveral types of containers that you can pick in and paper bags for you to take the blueberries home with you. If you want to bring your own containers, that's fine too, just make sure that we weight them before you start picking. What usually works best is if you pick in our containers, but bring your own to take the blueberries home with you.

What Are Your Hours?
Rhynard's Blueberry Farm is open from 8 am until 8 pm daily (including Sunday). However, we will close for the day roughly every 7-10 days for crop maintenance. Please check the website or Facebook to make sure we're open.

How Long Does The Season Last?
The blueberry season usually lasts about six to eight weeks, but is highly dependent on when the season starts and the weather. You can check the website or call us and we can give you an approximate ending date.

How Much Are The Blueberries?
Check out the pricing section for the different blueberry prices, as well as the honey prices.

How Do We Get There?

How Many Pounds Of Blueberries Are In A Quart?
It takes 1 1/2 pounds of blueberries to make a quart.

What's The Best Way To Freeze Blueberries?
The biggest thing NOT to do when freezing blueberries is to wash them before you freeze them. This tends to make the skin on the blueberries tough and makes the blueberries freeze in clumps instead of individually. So the best way to do it is to freeze them first, and then wash them right before you use them.

Do You Make Your Own Honey?
No, but our bees do! :) We need the bees to pollinate the blueberries, so the honey is an added bonus. You can see what the honey looks like and how much it costs on the pricing page.

Can We Buy Blueberries That Are Already Picked?
Yes, we offer already picked blueberries. We try to have about 10 pounds on hand, but it's best to call ahead to make sure. If you call, you can place an order and we can tell you when we can have your blueberries ready.

What's With The Giant Net?
The big yellow balloons, bird recordings, and even the air cannon all failed at preventing the birds from eating our crop. Our last option was to "net in" the patch, which was the project before the 2010 season. So far, the net seems to be helping tremendously.
